Inside Advantage for Your Child

The Inside Advantage

  • I've sat on both sides of the IEP table — as a teacher, as a district administrator, and as a parent who fought his own child's school district for services they were legally required to provide

  • I've seen districts hide behind procedural compliance while students and families walk away with less than the law guarantees — I see through the smoke and mirrors and keep the focus on ensuring students get what they need

  • I've seen how districts protect themselves, and I know how to read what's happening beneath the surface of a polite meeting

  • I've seen parents leave IEP meetings knowing something is wrong but unable to name what they actually want — helping families find that clarity is often where the real work begins
